Thermaseal commenced operations as a close corporation in 2001 extruding PVC shrink tubing, cutting and supplying sleeves to customer requirements.
In July 2005, a group of shareholders affiliated with Progressive Packaging, a private company with a 60 year history in the packaging industry, acquired a controlling interest in Thermaseal and converted the CC to a private company.
In mid 2008 the rest of the shares of the Company were acquired from the original shareholders and the Company was recapitalised with a view to the acquisition of additional machinery and equipment. The owner managed model was and still is considered to be the ideal model for our business.
Thermaseal has maintained an ethic of service excellence by paying attention to detail, ensuring efficient communication with our customers, engaging in forward-planning and leveraging off technology to ensure reliability.
